As Moon Palace Punta Cana Casino, Golf & Spa Resort is all-inclusive, a wide variety of activities is available each day, all complimentary.
- Beach and Pools: With eight outdoor pools overlooking the ocean and 3 outdoor pools with views of the lagoon, and three kids’ pools, plus a lazy pool, the fabulous beach and sunbathing area, you have plenty of options for soaking in the sun. Note: Due to the resort’s setting on the ocean, non-motorized water sports are not available.
- Fitness Center: In the Fitness Center, you will find all the latest elliptical and cross-training machines, plus free-weight equipment, so you can keep up with your workout routine.
- Non-Motorized Land Sports: With everything from miniature golf and tennis to table games, bicycles and ping-pong, Moon Palace Punta Cana has it all! And don’t forget that daily activities are available, too.

Beach Olympics – Offered Feb. 11 (2:00 PM – 4:00 PM)
Join the fun! Catch the Olympic spirit – Caribbean style – with an inspired team effort on the beach to bring home the gold! The setting is superb – the resort’s beautiful beach and the sparkling waters of the Caribbean Sea. The spirited camaraderie among your teammates will prove just as important as winning. You and your team will be competing against the clock and rival teams in a variety of events designed for the beach, and the team with the highest total point score at the conclusion wins. There’s no need to be a great athlete – just a great team player!

Golf Tournament at Cana Bay Palace Golf Club – Offered Feb. 13 (7:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
Rise to the challenge of tournament play and get set to tee off in paradise at this highly acclaimed, Jack Nicklaus-designed course. The 7,200-yard, par-72 18-hole course enjoys a state-of-the-art irrigation system that ensures the fairways and greens remain verdantly beautiful at all times.

Tennis Tournament at Moon Palace Resort – Offered Feb. 14 (9:00 AM – 11:00 AM)
Swing into action and prepare to make a racquet at our tennis tournament, held on the court at the resort. This tournament features all the makings of serving up aces with beverages to keep you hydrated and prizes to ensure you’re crowned “king” or "queen" of the court!

Optional Activities and Tours at a Personal Expense
The following optional activities are available during your trip. We strongly recommend reserving your spot in advance, although staff at the Hospitality Desk will be happy to assist with your activity arrangements on site. Note: Optional activities are not included in your program and will be a personal expense. Activities selected during registration will be confirmed via email in January, when payment will be due in full.
Deep-Sea Fishing – Offered Feb. 12, 13, 14 (7:15 AM – 12:30 PM)
No trip to the Dominican Republic would be complete without a deep-sea fishing trip! Dominican Republic waters are also some of the clearest in the West Indies, creating more than ideal conditions for an excursion. The boats are in the Marina of Punta Cana, at the east coast of the Dominican Republic. This location is exactly in front of the Mona Passage, and in these deep waters, fish are more than plentiful; the main trophies being White and Blue Marlin, Wahoo, Dorado, Tuna and Barracuda. This ideal location is one of the places with the highest possibilities of a catch in the Dominican Republic. $135 per person

Funtastic Dolphin Adventure – Offered Feb. 12, 13, 14 (9:50 AM – 1:50 PM)
Designed for swimmers of any ability level, this fun dolphin experience is sure to be memorable. Your new mammal friend will greet you with a dolphin “peck shake,” and it won’t be long until you discover the magic of a dolphin kiss. The trainers will guide you in swimming with the dolphins in deeper water, or you can play with them in the shallow. Throughout your time here, you will learn facts about dolphin anatomy as well as useful tips on conservation. Note: This activity includes 30 minutes of time in the water with the dolphins, and there will be one dolphin per group (up to 20 people). $109 per person

Cultural Adventure Safari – Offered Feb. 12, 13, 14 (9:15 AM – 5:30 PM)
You will experience a magnificent adventure in the midst of mountains, sea and valleys, discovering the breathtaking landscapes and the incredible hospitality of the friendly Dominican people. Aboard all-terrain trucks, you will discover the wide expanses of sugarcane fields and the workers who still preserve some of their ancestral traditions. You will then discover a typical house and its tropical fruit orchards where you can have your fill of local products (vanilla, coffee, cacao and honey). After passing through many picturesque and colorful villages, you will be taken to a mountain ranch for a typically succulent Dominican lunch and time at leisure. You will also get the chance to learn about the cigar process and visit a small countryside school. $90 per person

Marine Encounter – Offered Feb. 12, 13, 14 (8:15 AM – 12:45 PM)
Air-conditioned buses transfer you to the private beach, located at the little fishing village of Cabeza del Toro. Once there, you will board a large catamaran and provided with snorkeling equipment and instructions by the Marinarium Park supervisors. On this excursion, you will have the opportunity (although not required to participate while on the tour) to swim with nurse sharks and stingrays. Should you choose to take advantage of this amazing opportunity to have an encounter with these fantastic creatures of the deep sea, you will swim and dive along the coral reef following the guide. Bring a waterproof camera to take advantage of these stunning photo opportunities. Before heading back, the boat will cruise the coastline until reaching a natural pool where you can enjoy a refreshing cocktail served directly in the waist-high waters. $89 per person

Catamaran Escape – Offered Feb. 12, 13, 14 (7:20 AM – 3:45 PM)
We invite you on an unforgettable day on a gorgeous catamaran, cruising along the coast of Bavaro. While on this trip, you will have the chance to get a close view of the Astron wreck, and also relax and have fun on board with the friendly crew. Sail Punta Cana’s clear blue waters for daytime snorkeling or sightseeing adventures. To conclude the trip, you will find yourself dipping in the natural swimming pool; a real dose of paradise! $89 per person

Saona Island with Altos de Chavon – Offered Feb. 12, 13, 14 (7:30 AM – 6:30 PM)
Visit the artist village of Altos de Chavon, a reconstruction of a medieval village from the 16th century where scenes from movies such as Apocalypse Now were filmed. Walk down to the Chavon River to jump on a speed boat for the trip to Saona Island, an exotic paradise with white sandy beaches, coconut palms, crystal clear turquoise waters and, for fun, some merengue and rum! Enjoy your first cocktail at the amazing “Natural Pool” lagoon followed by a barbecue lunch under the shade of the palm trees. After an afternoon of lounging, beach games, dancing and exploring, you will board a catamaran for the hour and a half sail to the fisherman’s village of Bayahibe, complete with musical entertainment and unlimited drinks.$109 per person

Santo Domingo Heritage & Culture Tour – Offered Feb. 12, 13, 14 (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
Classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, Santo Domingo offers many fascinating contrasts in culture, history, tradition and modernity. Your guide with spirit you away to the past, to the very origins of the New World, as you hear the story of this captivating city, the first permanent European outpost in America. Your tour begins at the Columbus Lighthouse, the presumed grave of Christopher Columbus, followed by the Colonial District of the city. Sites include the Ozama Fortress, Plaza España, Columbus Castle, the National Pantheon, the Museum of Royal Houses and the Santa Maria Cathederal, the first of the new continent. The tour also includes a shopping excursion to the Mercado Modelo, and a lunch of typical Dominican food with folkloric dancing. $85 per person

Segway Tour – Offered Feb. 12, 13, 14 (7:30 AM – 10:30 AM)
Punta Cana’s newest eco-friendly activity! Segway is 100% electric power and extremely easy to ride. Segway enables you to glide along silently and effortlessly leaving you free to admire the local scenery. Have great fun along the nature trail alongside the pristine beaches of Punta Cana and even ride on the sand. Bring your swim suit to enjoy time in crystal-clear pools and on a private beach. $79 per person

Speed Boat & Snuba – Offered Feb. 12 and 14 (10:40 AM – 2:30 PM) *No children under 8
An exhilarating adventure! Enjoy the wind in your hair as you cruise along the beautiful shores of Punta Cana. Enjoy time snorkeling along a magic coral reef and participate in the area’s newest adventure: Snuba! With Snuba you have the benefit of going up to 20 feet under the ocean without needing any diving experience. $75 per person for double boat, $120 per person for single boat

Floating Spa – Offered Feb. 12 and 14 (1:35 PM – 5:30 PM) *No children under 8
Enjoy a relaxing afternoon on board a floating spa catamaran. While you are participating in the numerous treatments and activities, enjoy the beautiful coast line of Punta Cana as you listen to the soothing music. Enjoy bio-pilates, two types of massage (masseuse and electronic bed), goot electronic ionization and detoxification, floating mattresses with waterproof iPods and a foot exfoliation by “Dr. Fish”, as well as time in the stingray aquarium. On the way back to shore, enjoy a chilled glass of white wine as you admire the sunset. $125 per person

Adrenalin Canopy – Offered Feb. 12, 13, 14 (8:15 AM – 1:00 PM) *No children under 8
Visit the first of the Dominican Republic’s Zip Line Tours, constructed by one of the most experienced of Costa Rica’s Canopy Tour builder. This exhilarating adventure takes you flying across the magnificent Anamuya pond. Your naturalist guides will show you the way, helping you make the most of the adventure and unlocking the secrets of the Taino Anamuya Mountains. After a 45-minute drive onboard safari truck transportation, you will enter a whole new dimension of entertainment. The guides will teach you all you need to know about the ride and the equipment. Your tour consists of 11 platforms and 10 zip lines stretched across the length of the mountain range throughout a one-mile course. So just let yourself “zip” from platform to platform, and swing through the air with a privileged bird’s eye view of the lush, tropical ancient Taino Mountain. $89 per person

Prior to engaging in certain optional excursions involving participation in off-road, airborne, waterborne or similar adventure-oriented activities, participants will be required to sign an assumption of risk/liability release form.
